The Sipo Scholars Fund is a one time scholarship awarded to selected students throughout southern Africa. Sipo Tezapi was a dear friend of our team and an incredibly gifted, loving and beautiful young woman who believed in our youth’s future and whose life made a tremendous impact on all who knew her. Your contribution can help make the difference in us being able to support one or several potential scholars who would otherwise not have the financial resources to further their academic dreams.
Your tax-deductible donation will help purchase textbooks, school supplies, assist needy students in paying for rent, food, school uniforms, clothing, kerosene, health care, shoe repair and transport to their villages when school is over.
Umtata, South Africa - AIDS Orphans
Bethany Children's Home in Umtata, South Africa, is home to over 100 children aged 6-months-9 years old, most of whom are affected by HIV/AIDS.
Children are brought to the orphanage from all over the city. Some children are found at the side of the road, others under bridges and some are brought there by family members who are financially unable to care for them. It is not uncommon to have 3-5 babies in a crib.
Their needs vary from: clothing, food, diapers, shoes, and school supplies, but most of all, their greatest need is to have loving people to care for them. Your donation can help provide these supplies as well as help pay for salaries of additional staff to help care for and teach these children.
